How I changed
I grew thin
I shriveled
I caved
Did you think you were that high
That mighty
That light,
No weight
That I could hold you up forever and not grow tired
I don't think you even realized you cast a shadow
But now I am lazy, I don't handle you like I used to
So you get angry and you get mad
But I'm still lazy still tired
So I don't care
Every now and sometimes again
I lift you slightly
I care for your cries
And you smile again for a while
But it never lasts
Because I can't be bothered to hold it
So I have changed
My patience has all worn out
And I do carry you but only when I want to
So if I am what you want,
Be thankful for the time,
I promise you'll be in good company,
Demand it and I'll finished it.
